I have been researching how to direct DC to DC charge my ridgid batteries for quite some time now and I COMPLETELY over looked that some of the chargers are supplied with DC power directly. I have multiple of the chargers in your video and now one of those is going in my trailer for this purpose. THANK

Do you need mppt though for solar? I’ve seen a video on YouTube where he went straight panel to Ryobi charger and it worked. It took what the panel made. Needed to have a high VMP to fully charge but wouldn’t a simple dc to dc circuit enable solar charging?
