Choosing to tell them not to is really leading to suicidal children. My daughter was bullied. The moment she fought back her sadness was over and they left her alone!!!

That’s no parenting fail, is necessary to teach them to stand their ground and defend their space, not to be the aggressor but definitely to be able to defend themselves.

I told my son the same thing, someone hits you, hit them back! You know if they let them do it once, the kid will do it again. I did tell him he was not to be a bully, but someone touches you, you hit them

My son came home with scratches and a red face from a much older girl who decided to bully him. She was putting glue in his hair and kicked him in the face. Yes i did encourage my son to hit her back. Next time. She is in a higher grade and is older then him. She touched my boy he gets to defend himself

That is not a parenting fail. That is a mom empowering her child, allowing the child to stop being a victim. Take her to Take Kwon Do so she can defend herself!

That's right push them back. how else are they suppose to learn? you let them and they will only keep doing it.. I tell my daughter same thing, PeriodT. big difference in defending yourself and being an aggressor. kids need to learn.

As a child I grew up horribly bullied.
It wasn't until High School when I was so depressed I said F-it and started fighting back.

It stopped them from physically harassing me but the verbal abuse was brutal. Sometimes saying "no or don't touch me" works but sadly most times it doesn't.

Teacher your kids both and trust that they'll judge the situation correctly.

Awww man! They’d be terrified of me! I told my daughter the next time somebody hits her pick up a pencil and STAB them in the neck! 😂😂😂 my ex started laughing and was like “don’t listen to mom this time!” I was dead ass serious! And I reminded him of how he threatened the boy who was picking on her. Yea… we don’t play about our baby!
