Interesting facts about Renoir ⬇👨🏻‍🎨🎨
1. One of Renoir's closest friends was composer Claude Debussy, who was also a leading figure in the Impressionist movement. Renoir and Debussy shared a mutual admiration for each other's work, and Debussy even wrote a piece of music inspired by Renoir's painting "Paysage sentimental" called "Paysage" in 1894.
2. Renoir had a close relationship with fellow Impressionist painter Claude Monet, and the two would often paint together and share ideas. He was also acquainted with other prominent artists of his time, including Edgar Degas, Édouard Manet, and Paul Cézanne.
3. Renoir was interested in photography and experimented with the medium in the late 1800s. He even owned one of the first Kodak cameras and used it to capture images of his family and friends.
