If you're looking for a premium dust collection upgrade but don't have the space for a dedicated dust collection system, check out the Mullet Tools M5 Dust Cyclone that's a great fit for small shop dust collection. It's a perfect fit for anyone using a Shop Vac and a dust separator for their woodshop and dust collection needs. It installs directly to most shop vacs and can be configured to be mounted above, roll beside or inline in a variety of options with a variety of brands of shop vacs. The dust cyclone separates out large and small dust particulars and materials to let your shop vac do the work, but not get bogged down with debris. Set up and installation takes less than 20 minutes with a few simple tools. The instruction manual is full color and easy to understand. It's easy to tell this dust collection system took inspiration from former Yeti employees with a sleek design esthetic and gets the job done better than the completion quality.
Clean up is simple with quick disconnect hoses adaptors and a clear lid (similar to a yeti rambler) to see when your Mullet Tools M5 is filling up and ready to pour out. My previous dust collection system (Dust Right Separator) was cumbersome to disconnect and often needed duct tape to improve the airflow and suction. Upon hooking this up to my Saw Stop table saw for dust collection, I noticed an immediate upgrade in the removal of dust.
