Some stations on the Bloor-Danfort line needs some serious makeover like Dufferin did

I transferred from the subway to the UP Express there during my visit a few weeks ago. It really could use a direct connection. Better signage on the doors to the station would be good too. I found both stations rather gloomy, though this was at night.

TTC needs a huge makeover to even try to catch up with some with City Rapid Transit systems around the world

I know Metrolinx themselves pronounce it Up Express but to me it will always be the U P Express, or just the U P.

Why the Ontario Line /DRL was not extended west and terminated at this station is mind-boggling. Perfect convenience/options for passengers. It would have connected with all those three services, and also serviced Parkdale and Roncesvalles 'hoods. I wrote/lobbied for this and got a response - the tail end of the Ontario/DRL line at Exhibition could possibly be used for this in a future project.

Just looked up google maps and the distance between Dundas West and Bloor Go is about 300-400 m. There is an unbuilt strip of land to the north, from Edna avenue intersection to Bloor Go station. It has a parking lot as mentioned. Clearly a cut and cover passage is not so complicated to build?!

"Since it is quite old, the station is really nothing special". Only in North America does that statement make sense. In Europe, the quite old stations are the special stations.
