i have my grandfathers g1 bomber jacket from when he served on an aircraft carrier during the korean war. he never flew but did fold parachutes, so it never had badges sewn in for id or anything or saw much wear. its spent nearly 70 years sitting almost untouched and its possibly my most appreciated and prized belonging.

Great Video.... Growing up watching WW2 movies and TV shows showcasing flight jackets as a young boy I fell in love with them.

As a shorter man, I have to be a bit wary when picking out my coats but the B-3 is so bold and almost heroic I always end up admiring the coat whenever I wear it even though I look like a stunted Michelin man.

The Irvin shearling bomber is the most beautiful of the sheepskin jackets, worn by R.A.F. Pilots it featured zippers on the cuffs like a Moto jacket and an asymmetrical zipper.

My favorite is my A-2 done in black. I bought it from Flightsuits in 1999 and still wear it today 2020. It still has all original knits, zipper and lineing, built like a tank.
