I'm 51 years old. Been through a lot in my life. It's taken me a long time to love me even though I'm worth loving. Abandonment, abuse, neglect.... they all cause so much damage. Low self- esteem is something that can not only make you feel bad. It can cause you to stay in unhealthy relationships. It's easy to say, LOVE YOURSELF, but it's a lot harder to do when you never had anyone there for you encouraging you and showing you love.
