How to install an AnywhereUSB device and set up AnywhereUSB Manager in Standalone mode on a Windows PC that is connected to a different network than the AnywhereUSB device is on.
Note, the AnywhereUSB and the Windows 11 Virtual Machine are on different network segments, this simulates a local and remote network, for example Central HQ and Remote office connected using a routed MPLS network for example.
This is a demo of how to install and configure a Digi AnywhereUSB Plus device. This demo uses a Digi AnywhereUSB 2 Plus, but this is the same process for the 8 & 24 port versions.
This includes:
• Physical connection showing twist and lock barrel connector
• AnywhereUSB service configuration
• Installation and setup of the AnywhereUSB manager software on a Windows 11 Virtual Machine
• Connecting and accessing the USB devices
