Unbelievable startup of a 2 Cylinder Stirling Engine

Here I want to show you the awesome start up of of a 2 cylinder Ringbom Stirling engine.
It's a Ringbom Stirling engine that I bought from AliExpress.
A Ringbom engine is a Stirling engine where the displacer piston has no direct connection with the crankshaft.
Instead it is moved by changes in the air pressure.

If you're looking for high quality balanced components, old VCR's are full of them. They also use ultra high quality bearings and can be found at thrift stores, trash piles, e-waste recycling facilities etc.

Excellent channel. I just came across it. Have you ever seen NASA's Stirling cycle generator? They have used it on various spacecraft for some time now. It's like an advanced version of the Manson engine with coils to generate electricity from thermal differentials.

Would a higher temprature cause a faster startup since Stirling engines just work off a tempurature difference?

Do you use two magnets to create a spring force on the displaced piston?, as I see the piston seems to be held in a neutral position while it was held by you
