This song is very misleading. A normal 9 to 5 job starts at 9 AM and ends at 5 PM. That's a normal 8 hour work day. However, this song implies that Applejack works from 5 AM to 9 PM. That would be 16 hours a day and 80 hours a week! You only work that long as an adult on an African plantation.
