Porsche Collector's Dream Garage - Birdtown Classics

What a great way to start a weekend!! Chatting with a car enthusiast and getting a tour of his collection of his Porsche collection. Mike and his Dad recently bought a dilapidated auto-shop in Robbinsdale MN and transformed it into this car enthusiast's dream garage. Whether they're working on the cars or just hanging out with family and friends, they're living the dream. In this video we check out the shop along with a 1965 Porsche 356C, 1975 Porsche 911S and a 2009 Porsche 997.2 C4S. Come check it out!

Hi James. Love your videos. Recently bought a 2008 997 cabrio Turbo with 40, 000km on the clock. My dream car. I wanted a Metzga full analog car before the world goes full digital. The only modifications I’ve made so far is adding a Porsche 5mm spacer kit to the wheels and a modification to the exhaust. A local guy in Melbourne with years of experience in super cars cuts open the original and plays his magic. The sound is not anti social around town but barks on the open road. Pure heaven. Keep up the good work.

Hi James. Another great video. I had a little tear in my eye as I watched. My first Porsche was a 1964 356C so it was great to see that. Mine was Silver and was an original RHD car (pretty rare). I bought it back in the early 90s before marriage and children and when I still had hair. Purchased from the original owner, a guy in Malmo Sweden who had been based in UK in 1964 so a perfect heritage. Drove back home via Copenhagen and Amsterdam...brilliant trip. It was immaculate and can you believe cost me £16, 000...WHY DID I EVER SELL THAT
Massive day in my life this Thursday as going to Rybrook Specialist Cars in Solihul to collect my first every Porsche 911. 991.1 Carrera 2S in white. Will have my 13 year old Dylan with me and am going to video the whole thing. I am just earth shatteringly excited. Thanks as ever for the superb content...keep doing your thing mate....Oh congratulations to Liverpool for winning the Premier League title, What a season (please don't tell me you are an Everton fan?). ;)

I have to honest... dang it. I have never even been in an air cooled Porsche. I take that back. 1983 my friend Todd’s mom picked us up from the movies in a Rootbeer brown SC. I should just say that I have never driven one. I hope to change that sometime soon. My heart is screaming 993. My wallet is causing quite a fuss about it. Working on it.

So ~40 years ago, I brought my 1976 Pontiac Trans Am into “Auto Electric” to do some rewriting of the dash & gauges that I customized and wanted them even more updated. It turns out, that is the business the guy retired from that allowed them to purchase that golden man cave / Porsche Playhouse! Small world 🌎
