The 12-1, #2 Alabama Crimson Tide (champions of the SEC) took on the 12-1, #3 Michigan State Spartans (champions of the Big 10) in the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Cotton Bowl Classic from Dallas, TX. The winner would advance to face the #1 Clemson Tigers for the national championship.

I'll always remember Henry stiff arming Calhoun like a ragdoll even though he was 260 lb DE. This game really started the decline of MSU football and they still haven't recovered.

Playing Bama. Teams should do more old style plays. Screen passes, short routes. Kind of what Miami doing in the mid 1990s. Bama defense is just simply too fast for long passes and too strong for inside run plays.

Lane Kiffin lost his mind because Hendry finished the game with 13 carries. 4 more runs after his run put us up 21-6. Since then, yall have failed Miserably to live up to your own hype. Lost to Michigan State who was using a back up QB. Then we promptly beat them 38-0. And this past year, you didn't even win your conference and got exposed as frauds just like you said Michigan St was the year before, allowing the 2 by far best teams to rematch. You guys are fading, Bama is reloaded and is one well oiled "MACHINE".
