This lets you watch Netflix with that very account. It's main use is for streaming content around your home that you already own and have within an iTunes library. If you have a lot of DVD's and/or Blu-rays and the ability to rip them to your system and convert them to an MP4 (Handbrake will do that job nicely for you, or I'd recommend Ivi if you have a Mac) then it's a great little piece of kit.

Finally, after 9 years, I finally bought a 3rd gen Apple TV, honestly, the apple tv is more than enough for what I'm doing at home which is watching Netflix and youtube, great little device that still holds up after 9 years.

you buy a hdmi cable from a shop, usually gold plated for better connection, they can cost anything from around £5 up to hundreds, depending in quality and length, any retail store including ARGOS, ASDA etc will sell them, hope this helped!

The Apple TV has recently gone down in price to $69 so I decided to buy it.  I run all Mac products in my home, so adding this, especially at a great price, was a no-brainer for me.  Still, I needed to know the benefits and why having this particular system would be a good fit for me...  Thankfully your video cleared up a lot and I feel pretty good about my purchase.  So, thanks a million for your video and if I could give you 10, 000 likes, I would, but you'll have to settle for the 1 like.  Thanks!!

I have an Apple TV and the best thing about is AIRPLAY.. It will update you about NBA scores but you need to subscribe to watch live games.. Avery powerful device.
