You did a fabulous job of filming this. What a great tutorial. Thank you so much!!
Those screws rolling around in the overhead were driving me crazy. I thought the sound was coming from the dash vents. 🤪

Thank you for the video. I’m glad it was just the screw that came out and not a broken part. I was tired of hearing that rattle around every day

Thank YOU!! WE finally realized the overhead piece slightly hanging and thought damn, the screws rolling around are from up there. Been about 6 months of us arguing where the noise is coming from and my youngest at 13 said it's from overhead. She was right. Fixing this today!

I thought it was only my truck that had this annoying as hell issue. I simply did a Google search and this video came right up. Awesome as heck video, thank you so much.

Thank you sir. Great video. Highly recommend a magnetic screwdriver to reinstall the screws.

All I needed was the first part taking the first area off. A screw had come loose and fell down in the console and the rattle was driving me crazy. Thanks for showing how to remove the first part. I was able to find and reset the screw.

I have the 2018 GMC Sierra. The only difference was the Home remote relay was also in there, just another disconnect. This darn thing comes loose about every 10 months. This time around, blue locker thread glue. Thank you so very much for helping me get her done.

Great video, clips were a little challenging. But video helped to understand exactly how each one worked. Screws fell out right away so just be sure you see where they land. Thank you for taking the time to make it.

A big thank you to the publisher of this video. I had hail dings taken out of our Silverado and I guess when the top was pulled to repair the dings the PDR technician left the screws out. I didn’t realize it for over a year until one day I pushed on it and it was loose. I pulled it apart like in the video and could not find any screws anywhere, so I removed a clip and went to a hardware store and found some black trim screws to fix it. Without watching this video I wouldn’t have had a clue how to go about taking it apart and fixing it. Thank you so much.

I Just Want To Thank you 🙏
Both of them are not in their place and making so much noise.
And then, after I watched your video, it has been fixed .
God bless you and your family ❤☦️🙏

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I could have sworn the "marble sound" was coming from the glove box area (which I torn apart and discovered nothing.) I did notice that my overhead console was loose, I thought maybe the clips broke off. But after removing it I found two screws rolling around. Must have been a Friday when this was assembled at the plant. 😆

Spot on, no nonsense video. You made it a simple straight forward fix for my 2019 Silverado. Hat off to you!

Just finished fixing my overhead console in a 2019 silverado. Procedure is virtually identical with one extra electrical connection. Used some thread lock as per the advice because this is the second fix. Dealership fixed the first time, but didn't use thread lock. Not sure how much this video saved me, but I'm guessing at least $200. Nothing is cheap at a Dealership service department. Thanks again.

Incase anyone comes across the situation I found here ya go.

The black clips that the screws go into were broke in my 2017 Tahoe. Idk if it was from bouncing around or if someone else was messing around in there before I owned the vehicle and snapped them off. I ended up fixing my issue by putting washers between the screw and black clip so the screw heads wouldn’t just slip through the clip. Tightened the screw back Into the metal bracket with the clip and washer and was good as new! Great informative video by the way exactly what I needed.
