Citizenship Amendment Bill 2019 passed in LS amid Congress walkout

Lok Sabha passes Citizenship Amendment Bill 2019. Bill seeks to provide Indian citizenship to non-Muslims from Bangladesh, Pakistan and Afghanistan. Congress walked out while the TMC warned that NE will burn due to this bill . Rajnath Singh tried to allay fears in the Northeast that the legislation will create ethnic divide.

All Hindus should get citizenship in India, all Hindu Assamese people who are opposing this perhaps should read history and they will realize that Sylhet and some other districts in current Bangladesh were part of Assam in undivided India so they are naturally domicile people of Hindu Assam. If Delhi & Uttar Pradesh can accommodate so many Hindu Punjabi from Pakistan post partition, then why not Hindus from Bangladesh can be accommodated in Assam & Meghalaya. Where else will all these deprived Hindus go ?

We have been migrated from Pakistan since 2013 and living in India on long term visa basis. We spent our life in Pakistan and got education there but minority people life is very miserable in Pakistan. They are forcefully converted and convince by them to accept Islam.
