A revolution is happening in energy storage. NAWA Technologies’ Ultra Fast Carbon Batteries are the next-generation of the ultracapacitor, featuring vertically-aligned carbon nanotube electrodes.

Combined with a pioneering unique coating they can offer five times more power than existing ultracapacitors or five times more energy, depending on application.

Setting new standards for charging speed, frequency and environmental friendliness, NAWA Technologies’ Ultra Fast Carbon Battery bridges the gap between existing ultracapacitors and more traditional lithium-ion batteries.

Capable of being charged and discharged within seconds over a million cycles without any loss in performance, the batteries are also environmentally friendly to produce and have exceptional second life usage, because they are based on carbon – a naturally-occurring, accessible and abundant material.

NAWA Technologies’ new Ultra Fast Carbon Batteries have multiple uses, from the power tool and manufacturing sectors, to automotive and commercial vehicle markets, within the IoT and sensor sectors as well as playing a key role in managing energy flow in a smart grid, to aerospace and even space.

It seems carbon nanotubes can do almost everything...except leave the lab

Nice presentation but no specs.
Impossible to evaluate.

alright, lets see the actual load test, metered charge and discharge cycles, then.

I could charge my phone for literally 2700 years before the battery dies on me. batteries are finally getting the upgrade they deserve

It sounds great, but I would have appreciated if they had some form of working model to show it functioning. I remain optimistic.

Nice invention. It's going to help to clean up our planet for the future generations.
It's very *good that it's made from carbon.* We have a lot of carbon on earth.
Such a battery could be very cheap, in the mass manufacturing process. Make it happen !

Ok, cool. A lot of techologies. But...when will it come to our phones, cars...

"Or in to the wing of a plane" that sounds epic

And WHEN, if ever, will they become available to consumers ?

Good job guys! One day lithium batteries will be a joke i.e. engineers will make some incredible progress in the coming years. Best wishes as you set up your manufacturing facility in France.

Cant wait to get my hands on some of these. It would be interesting to test their over-current capabilities and variance in voltage under load.

This is by far a massive leap towards human progress. I hope it will make our world's fragile sustainability greater.

Wow, looks like they’re doing a lot of “de vlopment”

Really impressive staff.
Looking forward to seeing this technology in three years.

Grand stuff, 26 noodles who don’t agree with future tech that has less negative effects on our world. Amazing, as they say there is always one

No mention of energy density. Which usually means it's not so good. Give us Wh/kg and Wh/L.
No mention of charge/discharge rates and wattages.
