Every now and then I like to come back to this channel to remember the obsession I had with this when it was happening. I followed this channel way before they started the countdown, it was just a channel that made me laugh cause it was weird. Then the countdown started and I was so confused and excited what it could be, then it caught on various message boards and everyone was just as excited as I was. Then this video came out. To this day I have no idea what the hell Bear Stearns Bravo even was, apparently it was a mobile game? Did anyone play it? I just remember being so let down, I don't know what I expected it to be but I was so disappointed this thing I spent hours upon hours discussing on message boards and telling my friends about like some secret conspiracy was gonna come to light or something. All that time wasted and I felt like an idiot for even caring. This could have been the best viral marketing ever if the product was actually something people cared about.

Its been 2 years and I'm still pissed that some dude bought and killed the horse ebooks account to promote some shitty indie thing. Oh lets not mention that he claimed the account was a fucking art piece, even if it was you didn't make the account, some russian dude did and you bought it.

Heh, it took serious balls and dedication to do what they just did. They took two separate groups (ebooks and PB) on a roller coaster of emotions, filled their minds with mystery...and the end result was a nearly completely unrelated, tongue-in-cheek CYOA that was literally the exact opposite of what anyone expected. And for that I have to give them some props.
The way they're going about a second episode idea is an interesting idea too, although not for me.

I loved this channel because it helped me with my French. But now It's some weird metaphysical nightmare.
If any of you are familiar with the plot of Metal Gear solid 2 then it should feel familiar. 
Just Like in this, in mgs2 the AI that guides you, Col Campbell- seems just fine, until the end where the AI starts to reveal itself. At the end of the game the Ai goes crazy and makes no sense before exploding.

It's an ARG.
An art project, so to speak. They pretty much nailed it, in terms of making ARGs interesting, and the @horse_ebook implication was quite unexpected.

This was obviously never going to result in some apocalyptic world event.

If I'm correct... @Horse_ebooks ended up being the creative director of BuzzFeed so that he could promote the choose-your-own-adventure art project called Bear Stearns Bravo.
