This Gigantic Planet Has Rings 200 Times the Size of Saturn’s!

When we hear the term "ring planet", we inevitably think of Saturn. Because of the hundreds of thousands of individual orbits that circle the gas planet, it might seem as if there couldn’t be any comparable celestial body in the universe that has such a fascinating structure. In today's video, however, we would like to show you that Saturn's impressive ring system appears astonishingly sparse in direct comparison to that of another planet. Today we’ll reveal just what planet is beating Saturn as the galactic master of rings and which other extraordinary celestial bodies researchers have identified.

Can you IMAGINE the view from another planet in this system? The moons are on the same plane as the rings, obviously, so I’m not sure how much you’d actually see. But being a couple AU away from this thing’s outer limits must be absolutely unbelievable.

Fun facts:
1) only 24 human beings have seen the whole earth at once with their own eyes.
2) to be able to properly scale the solar system correctly using a marble as earth you would need the area of roughly the size of San Fransisco (homeless encampments included). Around 7 miles
3) resulting in no factual picture, map, or image of the solar system to proper scaling in existence*... If you would use a normal books sheets of paper laid open, so 2 8x11 sheets, in order to properly scale the solar system the planets would essentially become microscopic.
*note: I'm not quite sure whether or not someone has actually made a scaled replica using microscopic planets as examples.

I would like to be able to see what past scientists would think of some of the exoplanets we have found. I think their reactions to seeing them would be kinda cool lol.

The dark planet that reflects only one percent of it's star's light is my favorite.

The fact that those rings go so far away from the planet and still orbit around defies the laws of gravity

So are they saying that our Saturn may have had rings as large as Super-Saturn millions of years ago and it has "calmed down"

He called the planet "The Galactic Master of Rings"....what a missed opportunity for a Tolkien reference. 😔

The planet Saturn is about 150 years old. I counted the rings. You can learn a lot in agriculture class.

The higher our technology gets, the more we understand that our previous conceptions of anything past our galaxy is misconstrued. Very little is done to correct past literature of studies.

i have no doubt there are suns out there surrounded by rings that dwarf anything a planet can produce

Looks like a Vinyl record from the 60's.

If saturn is a big gas giant, is it impossible that one day it will turn to be a solid surface planet like earth?
I don't think it is🤔
