LOOK: Drone footage shows massive destruction in Gaza as Israeli strikes continue | ANC

On The Scene: Drone footage showed abandoned streets, stacks of rubble across large swaths of Gaza on Thursday (October 12), after days of continuous Israeli strikes on the enclave. Many buildings were either flattened or badly damaged in one neighbourhood, with fading grey smoke still seen rising from the rubble. In retaliation to Hamas attacks over the weekend, Israel has responded so far by putting the enclave, home to 2.3 million people, under total siege and launching by far the most powerful bombing campaign in the 75-year history of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, destroying whole neighborhoods.
