something i generally don't like in jreg's music is the stress patterns of the words not matching the notes. here the same thing happens, BUT at 0:52 it just.... stops? the stress patterns stop being awkward, the weird feeling suddenly stops, and it almost feels like totally different phrasing, like a totally different vibe lyrically, like he just started to think properly. it probably wasn't intentional, but it damn feels like it

btw i just wanna appreciate the time signature change, and the introduction of more off-key singing when the lights are out, and when he comes back to the computer, the autotune becomes more and more apparent. (edit: and obviously the major/minor duality and the difference in harmonic complexity between the sections). the details are aweome and create an incredibly different tone for each part. awesome
