Just some feedback on the video regarding the fact that it mentions “5.3 & 6.2” in the description, but it doesn’t mention which motor you are actually working on in the video. My motor is the 6.2 and the hose location does not look the same as in this video. It would be helpful to point out the difference. Otherwise, great video and very helpful. I’ll install mine tomorrow! 👍

Note that if you have an aftermarket cold air intake (S&B etc.), you may not need to remove it, as the air box is not right in front of the throttle body. I was able to just loosen the two clamps and rotate the intake tube upward enough to get it out of the way. My intake box with filter is directly in front of the coolant tank, but there was just enough room to pull out and rotate downward the tank. As previously mentioned, if you have a 6.2, the location of the manifold fitting in this video is not correct. It is located on the intake, just behind the throttle body, which is depicted in the PDF manual. Good luck.

When I opened up the hood, I could easily get to the air intake port without removing the air box. Is the reason you remove the airbox to make it easier to see on video?

I have an air leak noise coming from the setup.
When I kink the drivers side hose coming off the catch can, the noise stops.. any idea?

Best video for the installation 👍👍 Greetings from Germany 😊 (I have a 2022 Chevy Trailboss and I recently bought this oil catch separator...)

Does it require a catch can for the passenger side also?

I am looking to purchase one of these and doing a little research. What happens to the passenger side PCV hose that goes into the airbox and ultimately into the intake. Are they different systems. Does the passenger side have an actual PCV value and not the driver side? I'm just wondering why only the driver side is going to the catch can vs both. Thanks in advance.

Just installed on my 23 Silverado 5.3, there’s a slight hissing sound is this normal? Should I put stock back on n return?

My wife’s 22 GMC Denali Yukon with the 6.2L - has a different hook up point for the return - Just behind the Throttle Body - instead of the back of the intake.

Wish you'd have shown attempting to reach in and inspect/empty can. Also interior design of can.

Maybe I just don't know enough about these things, but shouldn't I need one of these catch cans on the opposite side of my engine as well? I can't find anything about this online anywhere.

You used oil on the o-rings. Thank you for this information. Is pure silicone grease ok to use just a light coating of instead?

What kind of oil do we use for the o-rings?

Why don’t the manufactures put at least a cheap unit on the motor ??
