Crunching the K8s Numbers

From an operations standpoint, migrating OpenedX installations to a model based on containerized applications has represented a daunting challenge. In this talk we will share the lessons learned during the last year and a half operating OpenedX instances in Kubernetes. We'll analyze the different layers of the problem with metrics and expose the solutions that have led us to have a more robust and reliable behavior with the platform at different scales.

The nature of the talk is technical, and assistants with experience in operations can have the ease to understand the topics that will be discussed, however, we will do our best to use a speech as simple as possible in order to have a wider audience (non-technical profiles).
