Tim Henson and Scott LePage of the band Polyphia both got some sweet new Fishman Fluence Pickups. Today I'm testing them both out using the PolyChrome DSP McRocklin Suite for all my tones and effects.

Simple facts... PolyChrome DSP will make any set of pickups sound the absolute best they can be 😋👌🏼Great demo and playing as always chief!! 🎸🔥

all the pickups sound great, but it really doesn’t matter what you use sometimes you always wind up sounding like yourself whether you’re a rockstar like Mcrocklin, or a bedroom warrior like myself

Love the Polychrome DSP and combined with the Scott LePage pickups it sounds amazing. Plus the phenomenal guitar skills of Thomas McRockling gives a truly winning combination!

They both have a real top end overtone and very cool splits of course

Look at you! Changing colors with the five way/split changes. That was coo!

Playing a guitar with Fishman Fluence feels like using cheat codes lol. Incredible harmonics and clarity yet all the dynamics and feel of passive pickups...

Thought I was going crazy at 1st with the guitar changing colors.

There is so much out there available to find and make "your sound". Between the pick-ups and tones, I'd start with the most cost effective approach and get the PolyChromeDSP and see what my guitar/pick-ups bring to the table. Great review and as always, great playing.🤘

Also, those lights are intense in there - nice edit where you change presets and the guitar color changes!

Thanks for the comparison video. Both sound great. Though I am partial to purple I think that Scott’s would be the ones I would get for a new custom project I have in mind for a Fender strat.

Love that you told us which preset you were using at the time, I just bought your dsp because of it

Thanks for the demos.
Was gonna get Tim's; but tbh I like the sound of Scott's more.
Saved me a bunch with the vid

I think Tim's setup has more of an aggressive tone on the bridge. The top end on both of his are a little too bright for my taste.

Now Scott's set seems to be a bit on the warmer side and more balanced to my ear. I dig that set more.

Awesome review and killer tones & killer licks! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Mmm I love hearing pickups through a ton of fx and eq.

Scotts are smooth and clear, Tims a bit nasally and abrasive. Guess it depends how you dial em in! No one better to put them through their paces, thanks McRocklin you damn ripper!!
