Great discussion. Unfortunately I did not follow the advice to see the car in person before buying and will soon find out if reality matches the photos! I did however learn as much as possible over several years before buying..

Opalescent, blue with blue interior and gunmetal, grey red interior are for me best Series 1 E culminations by far, don’t get me wrong opalescent Green with Tan suede interior is nice also but not like the colours I said. 😂
I remember early 80s, as a young black kid travelling around my father, Fred, a BOXING promoter from early 70s to Mid 90s I used to travel around UK picking up Parts for his series 1 E 4.2 Roadster 67, I had learned so much of a kid growing up about these cars. I remember when they were £2, 000 to buy 🤣 seriously just imagine back in them days, there was loads of them seriously, South London North London eastlondon they were about remember buying a genuine factory hardtop £350 soft I had an unbelievable childhood experience on Jaguar E no one can’t tell me nothing about them. I still have the original heritage certificate for that car but sadly the car is gone now. Have big regrets because it was part of my dad, not only that my childhood should’ve kept it, but Mum wanted it out the garage because it was a sitting there for years on axle stands covered up we sold it. I just wish I had it today. The body on it was unbelievable when I say solid solid solid, no no rust and I think I should know about Etype
If I had it today to make that car as it should be when it came out, the Browns Lane factory £85, 000.
Only thing I didn’t like about it, it was Carmen Red. if I want to find the car I can find it through the registration check I know it’s somewhere up in the north of England I may do one day, one thing we do know it is back on the road.

Hallo Maikel, für die die es sich leisten können sicherlich die beste Möglichkeit einen Etype zu kaufen.Ich musste den schweren Weg gehen und 3000 Stunden Arbeit investieren um einen neuwertigen Etype mein Eigen zu nennen.Mittlerweile hab ich 3 Etype hier stehen.Der E-Virus hat mich im Griff.

Ich würde gerne dieEtype, s meines Vaters wiederfinden die er 1975 und 1977 gekauft hatte.Ist auch die Ursache für meinen E-Virus.Beim Jaguar Deutschland Forum habe ich vor 2 Jahren eine Suchmeldung gepostet.Leider ohne Erfolg.
