The annoying music adds nothing useful.

Giving money to the banks... that’s normal. Giving money to the average joe.. we are in uncharted waters.

More public spending, less tax breaks for the ultra rich. Where’s the bad part that justified this ominous music?

The reason you're saying it's a "coup" is because it goes against tradition to have a group of united individuals running government in the same direction - this will likely be the most efficient government in decades. Efficient with what aims is what I'm interested in and looking for in content. Why such big government spending? What are the knock on effects? What about the looming recession/depression? Will they implement REAL stress tests for the banks? etc

I see nothing wrong..The Prime minister is the 1st lord of the treasury. He can do as he pleases without unelected faceless "Advisors" conspiring against his plans.

About time. Chancellors have always been trouble for Prime Ministers in the past, oft becoming powerful and creating their own little political fiefdoms within Westminster. The PM is First Lord of the Treasury, so its about time he gets a Chancellor in Number 11 who'll follow the line.

Boris is doing the right thing ... show that Britain is open for business...to the world, and that we are making our own decisions now ...!

Sounds like the global elite are running scared to me. Nothing has been spent on the UK's infrastructure for decades. They are being taxed more to pay for it, rather than them taxing us more for it. Peoples lot in life is kept down by their design, so of course nothing will change with them still holding the reigns. Well done Boris.

On the front door of Number 10. Downing Street, it says "First Lord of the Treasury". Historically the Prime Minister was in charge of both national governace, and finances. If Prime Minister Johnson wants to return to that, it's well within his right to do so.

The answer to boosting our economy is legalising cannabis, the market is worth billions to criminals in the UK already. It's time to make this plant legal. Any body doubting this look at America and what has happened there
