My grandfather passed away in 2018 and didn't leave much of an inheritance for any of his kids/grandkids. Apparently I was his favorite grandkid because he left me a JBL Paragon as well as two custom made satellite sub woofers that match and also use the same Paragon drivers (LE15).

I’m no audiophile, vintage stereo person, or technology aficionado, yet I find Skylabs Audio —-video intriguing for your passion and deep knowledge on the equipment, people, and history around the subject matter. Most new stuff is expensive junk with cheap guts that won’t last past the warranty. It is refreshing to hear about equipment that met some level of build quality and serviceability. Rare commodities these days.

When it comes to vintage audio gear, Kevin by far has the best videos on YouTube or anywhere else on the internet.

Back in the 80s-90s my holy grails were Polk Audio SDA-SRS 1.2 or Klipsch Belle, La Scala, or Klipschorn. I have owned a pair of vintage La Scalas for 24 years and they have not disappointed!
