Tomorrow will be the 15th time I have spent Thanksgiving by myself. This is a conscious decision I make every year, and it’s the best thing I’ve done for myself. I won’t be around family, in-laws, children, stepchildren, and all those other relatives that the rest of you are going to have to deal with. I’ve been doing this for 15 years and I love it! I make myself a nice, home-cooked dinner and enjoy a day filled with peace and quiet. Loving the single life (never married and NO children!) and enjoying it!

Heads up Ladies, I read this Reddit post. The controversy is NOT that the woman's sister is hosting, it's that the woman (the OP) is hosting & her sister decided to dictate what should and shouldn't be happening at the OP's Thanksgiving. It gets worse because OP's immediate family is NOT on board with the rules & her brother & family says that their not signing nor coming if all of this is mandated. The parents baby the (Karen-esque) sister & thinks the OP should allow her sister to dictate the rules. So Reddit commenters said the OP should host for her and her brother. Anyone who wants to set out their own set of rules is free to host themselves. OP is definitely NTAH's. Enabling mom & entitled sister are!!
