110ci Twin Cam FXR Walk around + Canyon Ride

Показать описание
Just a quick walk around of the bike after putting some KM's on it since finishing it, a couple of the aspects of the build and some of the quirks.

Then a quick run up and down the local twisty road. Obviously this particular bike wasn't built for chasing tenths of a second, but it can still move along pretty damn well given the limitations. The audio picked up the pipe lightly touching down a few times (that I didnt hear in my helmet, and was trying to avoid), but couldnt help myself having fun and pushing the bike. The new TC FXR I'm building will be much better suited to this kind of riding.

Apologies for any audio issues/wind/whistling etc, its not an elaborate setup, just a GoPro session on the helmet.

If anyones interested in any particular technical aspects or elaboration on parts of the bike, sing out.

Sweet FXR really nice to see that there are guys down under loving these great bikes, have a -88 low rider with a 80cu evo ported heads big valves and S&S crank high comp pistons red shift cam HSR 42 and Dyna ignition, around 100Hp and tons of torque, also putting together another run down -87 over the winter, cheers from John ON Canada.

Nice build - I think the front forks should have been painted blue to match the rest of the bike - but still nice.

Did you say youll lose your license if you're caught doing 80mph on the highway?

oh you're in Australia. No wonder you're riding on the opposite side of the road..

Wow riding video really shows how it all works, really well. Did you say it runs standard carby dyna ignition system rather than thunderheart. Could ya do a short vid showing this. Regards from South aus.

Good job bro! your build turned out great - she is beauty and a beast!! Seems like she is real ripper in the canyon! what RPM in 6th at 70mph?

Sorry if I missed it in the description but was wondering what RPM you have it set at idle? Getting a 110ci for my Twin Cam & S&S tell me no less than 1000...cheers

What bike would these forks be found on? Or are they only aftermarket?

Bet that's a fun ride... 110ci in an FXR is crossing the threshold into gnarlyness! Fuckin RAD BIKE.

With all of the reliability and build quality issues with the 110 curious why you chose that engine over a 96 that could be bored out to a 103 ?

So sad that you have communism in there having sweet bikes and no ability to ride them fast😢
