Message:
Sometimes we feel so defeated that we tell ourselves you cannot do it and we want to give up. When that happens we end up tying ourselves down into bondage (the blurry black and white scenes), realizing we hate it even more. In that process we hope for God to take it all away. Somewhere deep inside we know we shouldn't give up. But during those darkest times, God provides a way of escape and He send us help (the white dress scenes). It sometimes looks all so hopeless right before we finally make it into that room of bondage to free ourselves. But on perfect timing we are freed, only to realize we put ourselves there all along.
God will open doors that are meant to be open and shut doors that are meant to shut. If you ever feel defeated, do NOT give up. Keep praying.
The one in white also represents love, and doing whatever they can to save the person from such pain. She feels like she can't get in, but then she realizes there's a key above the door and finally gets the door opened.

Something I added in is when she's looking at the red paper that was previously shown written by the one in black, she gets a really quick subconscious flashback of the girl writing it, but it was back SHE wrote it all along.

Song is Take it All Away by RED and I've always loved this song. I finally found the time and patience to record a music video and edit. I used the highest quality on my camcorder and had so many layers on my MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 15 Plus that it lagged the entire time. I had to export tiny parts of the song to see how it looked without the lag and then make corrections that I wouldn't have noticed on the program. I do wish that someday I can make videos with a more smooth editing program and computer. :)

I hope you like it and I hope it makes up for not uploading one in so long! I'm in the music video mood so look forward to more! Once my sister is not sick, I want to go out and make one with her.

Seriously though, I think for both of us, our stuggles made this absolutely amazing art come out.  Still just watching this video I'm completely blown away by all the significance of so many parts of it. I was watching some of my old videos too, and for both of us, you can just see how much we turned out pain in to art...and in a sick twisted way I miss making videos like this SO much...but I don't have that pain anymore...nor do I want it....but I love creating music videos with meaning like this!

Stephanie! oh my word this is absolutely AMAZING! First of all just the whole concept behind it is completely brilliant and secondly the editing is outstanding! And after reading the description I like it even more! lol. and I love the ending. goodness I'm just gonna keep going on and on..haha. Excellent work! Deserves to be seen by a lot more ppl!

@FreedomForOrcas I just wanted to point out that when clips are repeated, especially in a video like this, its for effect and to show the depth and meaning. And it's not that they're repeated, there are similar clips. I guess it helps reading the downbar sometimes when you don't get it, because when you really think about this video it's a beautiful portrayal of the struggles we go through in life. =]

Very well made.. I almost cried to. Only thing is that I personally don't like the song :( but I think this project is a very beautiful expression of creativity that can help you through your own things...
