I used to have a samsung S7 back in 2017, and it could do the exact same thing! Made beautiful pictures under water with it!

Nice! Did charging work OK after? In my old s7 it needed to dry for a couple of hours for it to work again.

If youre a hard user it get hot and the adhesive weakens, so the back comes loose so youll lose the waterproofing. Believe me.

Then why didn't mine tolerate being washed under the sink for 2 minutes?:( first it said the charging thing because of water then it turned off then I tried to power it on but the screen remained black and started beeping loudly, I turned it off. After 10 mins I could turn it on BUT the screen only registered my touch for 2 secs and the screen stated vibrating. I waited a few hours, the screen isn't vibrating anymore but it doesn't register any touch. So the touchscreen is unresponsive:(
