America's NGAD fighter began as a CLASSIFIED X-PLANE!

America’s new stealth fighter being developed within the Air Force’s Next Generation Air Dominance (NGAD) program actually began as a highly classified billion-dollar X-Plane effort that ultimately produced multiple prototypes.

The US Army just chose General Dynamics and Rheinmetall as finalists for the 4000 Bradley replacement IFVs.
Could you do a Firepower series video about this program, the two finalists and the other three that dropped out. Or more generally the current state of IFVs (Bradley, CV90, Puma, Lynx) and their most likely future. Maybe even including anti air IFVs like some CV90 variants and SkyRanger.

It is more likely that the NGAD program really began in 2011 - the day after F-22 production was terminated.

Very likely, a couple of _Have Blue_ type technology demonstrators have flown after 2018. It may not have the final shape of NGAD, but could have been used to pioneer a lot of technology that will go into NGAD. These prototypes won't fly supersonic to keep costs down.
