The first team missed so many opportunities and possible clues.. they were standing on top of clues but left stones unturned. When the team turned the "backdoor" they spent 3 days cutting a path to that point they didn't spend 30 more seconds to turn over the rounded off center stone to check for more carvings or look to see if the center rock was a point of reference. Perhaps the fact that the picture was an upside down pictograph of the actual door was for a reason and they should have followed the mountain in that direction

People on the comment section saying the treasure have been found. You don't realized that it was said that Yamashita's buried the treasures all around the Philippines. So, it is safe to say that there are other more treasure sites to be find. Gets!

Fun Fact, if you really wanna know how deep and distant the story of this treasure goes... Yamashita was never actually hung in Los Bańos after the trial, It was negotiated that he'd return quietly back to Japan and a look-alike be installed to take his place at the execution. You think the emperor would allow one of his key men in handling the burials to just be lost in a hanging.... come on History (His-Story) Channel...

In WW2, Douglas MacArthur instructed Philippine President Quezon to bring all of the GOLD, SILVER bars, coins AND CASH TO CORREGIDOR. Once all there, a US submarine came to load all up and brought everything to Hawaii and finally in California. As for the heavy coins, US navymen threw them into Manila Bay but recovered them again postwar.
