Oh man, got the Codex on my 4th Task and I have a quite effective kill method for med lvl Equipment: you can gain Aggro of all of them and hide behind the eastern pillar, If the New wave arrives you simply go to the west and stand in the middle of the rock, No one can reach you, you just have to hoi between These 2 spots everytime a enemy spawns next to you. I did this without oldak, and just had ganodermic with attuned Crystal and lantern

I've seen people wondering why they're not getting special tasks after skipping hundreds of them and burning all their slayer points. Here's the answer:

You start at 0% Chance to get a Special Slayer Task from the Raptor, each Slayer Task completed gives you a small % increase towards obtaining a Special Slayer Challenge.

Therefore, skipping tasks when you have a 0% chance to get a special challenge, makes your chances to get them 0%. You're just burning your points away like a dummy.

My suggestion, just keep doing your tasks, they provide BLM towards getting a special task, you'll eventually reach a point where these tasks are basically guaranteed.

So keep at it, it's simple, don't be lazy.

Meleeing in vestments has given me insane kpr for phantoms, scythe and aoe abilities plus zerking everytime its off cd, between zuk cape overpower, zerk, and meteor strike the adren gain from vestments is nuts, im constantly smacking 10-12k's and i threw genocidal and undead slayer on gear plus using salve ammy e. I can complete a task of about 50 kills in around 5mins usually as long as there aren't too many other players.

But I'll do the same thing i did for the Abyssal Lords on Release Day. Wait until midnight.

I got all three trophy's in around 30 tasks. You just can't skip any. Every task in a row gives you better odds

I'm not interested in the ability but the extra slayer damage from the building is Totally worth it for me.. the Extra elite chance is insane... 😮

ultimates have a 3% chance to excute non-boss slayer targets* not just a 3%.... the facts its on non-continues ults (so excluding beserk etc) only is a important distinction.

also the magic attack blood quake can hit 6k easily.

The risens ghost have a good ghostly essence drop rate which is very nice for Ironman

Got a special task on my 3rd raptor task and got the fetid zo.bie trophy .... only turned in 3 bone fragments.... so I'm guessing they are a rare task given
