"For some background info for this song, YOASOBI is actually performing with 1000 18-year-olds in Japan who submitted their to the duo. Then the two went through all of their letters and selected 1000 people for the song. They created this song to encourage these young adults!! Very touching backstory and makes it even more special."

Each year there is a festival in Japan at the end of the year (I don't remember how it's called) there 18-year olds that want to have a music career and get inspired by the big musicians participate. So there are always a singer or a band that are invited as a guest musician to make a song with the people they choose. This time it was YOASOBI who had to make a song with the participants.

this is not the very first time for yoasobi to make a song with new style (unsual of theirs) which is kind of orchestral + choir type. back then they already had semi orchestral type in "Love Letter" song, and choir type in "Gunjou" song, and this one is absolutely amazing to hear when they mix the orchestral and choir at the same time that make it more unique compared to their usual style, tbh this song sounds like opera choir song xd

I actually went to the concert few months ago, the "POP OUT" concert.

They actually performed it and the audience sang together, it was wonderful (I cried) 😊

Yes you HAVE TO watch the live version!! The live and the 1st-take version in «18 fes » definitely breaks you. The ending credits shows all the back chores all 18 years old.
