Chartres cathedral crypt. This amazing Gothic structure has roots back to Before Chrits periods. That is especially so in the Crypt, which is one of the few structures to fully survivie a fire in 1194 which destroyed the rest of the church. Amazing to walk in an area that has been used since, well, before even Jesus was born.
