Πυρρίχιος στον Άγνωστο Στρατιώτη από Πόντιους χορευτές

Από τις δυνατές στιγμές της κεντρικής εκδήλωσης για την Ημέρα Μνήμης της Γενοκτονίας των Ποντίων ο ο πυρρίχιος χορός που απέδωσαν οι 13 πυρριχιστές μπροστά από το Μνημείο του Αγνώστου Στρατιώτη στο Σύνταγμα. Λίγα μέτρα πιο πέρα γυναίκες ντυμένες με παραδοσιακές στολές, υπενθύμιζαν τον αριθμό των Ποντίων που χάθηκαν, γράφοντας τον με κόκκινα γαρύφαλλα. Ο κατεξοχήν πολεμικός Πυρρίχιος χορός ή Σέρρα ή Λάζικον είναι ίσως ο πιο σημαντικός χορός των Ελλήνων Ποντίων, και είναι ο πιο γνωστός ακόμη και σε άτομα μη ποντιακής καταγωγής. Αθήνα 19 Μαΐου 2018.

Pontic Greeks perform the Serra dance ahead of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Athens, during the official event for the Pontian Greek Genocide Memory Day. The Serra is a war dance of the Pontic Greeks. It's also referred to as the Pyrrichio or Lazikon. The ancient origins of the dance can be proven as the dance moves resemble those of the ancient Pyrrhic dance. Athens Greece 19 May, 2018.
