the laser is to see if your camera is lined up so when you are filming so it is not sideways or off centered

I have a contour roam2 and does not recognize the micro, the camera does not format the micro, and tried 3 different micro class 4 and above does not work, and read the manuals and forums and nothing.
when you pressed the button only format the file is copied  FW_RTC y FW_RTC_DEFAULTS
