As a Romanian living in Bucharest i have a as neighboors a sweet couple of seniors from London. They told me that England its not safe anymore and its very expensive for their income.
But its always a pleasure to share a pint with them and listening to their stories.

Los Británicos actualmente se comportan muy bien en España. Tienen costumbres parecidas salvo el idioma. Nuestros hijos son muy amigos de los suyos. Los británicos que conozco en España han echado raíces aquí y no quieren volver. Me gusta mucho la buena integración que han tenido.

hi im a half spanish and half british person and ive seen so many comments saying stuff like "we put money into their system so they should just be happy with it so theres no reson to start taxing us at super high rates when doing stuff like buying property" when they dont realise that the british immigrants going into spain buy a lot of property and charge similar prices for rent that they would in the uk without realising that a lot of spanish people are not able to afford these rent prices and its making life harder for spanish people and ive also seen other comments saying "why should we have to learn the language and adapt to the culture as long as we are civil" and to be honest its disrespectful to live in another country and not at least show some sort of respect and trying to impose their way of life onto the spanish population which i have seen too many times is really disrespectful.
so dont go around commenting without knowing

I left the UK for good at 26 years old. That was 13 years ago, I go back now and everyone I live behind is still sitting in the same seat in the pub complaining about the same things and doing nothing about it.

Spaniard here. I can confirm hundreds are moving to live in southern spain. And I think that´s great cause they are a new group, retirees, remote workers or just happy idlers, super nice people, they give a great atmosphere, a much better group than the drunk hooligans of the 2000´s (which we have happily isoladed in a few small spots 😜)

The average Brit doesn’t move to Europe. The simple reason is because they don’t speak European languages. They only go to Europe for cheap sunshine holidays.

The biggest destination to live is the Commonwealth countries ie Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, Caribbean and outside the commonwealth US, mainly Florida, California, because it’s English speaking.
