I know people are gunna scoff at the Teddy Bridgewater comp for being disrespectful but they forget that before he shredded his knee he was a solid starter on the upswing

Is his name was Jack Smith he’d be projected in the 2-3 round.

I think B is generous for his arm strength, its my biggest knock on him. I saw him change his stance and drive the ball into screen passes which was really concerning.

I don’t think much of what shedeur said about the O-line when it comes character concerns. But what does concern me is that he racks up parking tickets on his Rolls Royce cause he parks it wherever he wants on campus. From my experience playing college sports, the 2 guys I played with that would get a ton of parking cause they didn’t care and paying wasn’t a big deal to them, were the 2 most unpleasant, unaware, and biggest egos on the team. Now that could mean nothing but there’s probably a little bit of a correlation

Also of note: Sanders is a finished product.
He's not raw or rough around the edges, in need of good coaching. He's had private coaches since he was a kid. If Prime could have made him stronger or faster, he would have. His mental game, pocket presence might be maxed out too.

Teddy Bridgewater was a first round pick and had a good future with the Vikings before blowing his knee out. If Shadeur can be Teddy that’s would be very solid QB

Funny enough my pro comp on is Shedeur is Teddy Bridgewater as well.

The bad habit of drifting back in the pocket is a real problem. If you take him high you're saying we can coach that out of him. It's tough because stuff like that becomes instinctual if you do it enough.

I would definitely watch these for non-QBs or lower prospects but you don't have to make them as long or have as much film evidence on every point for lower guys. Maybe some players that you have the biggest difference on from the consensus board, Draft Studs & Duds series?

I would love to see your grades for each QB from the last 5 years in a list at the end of these videos just to compare/contextualize

The Nebraska game highlighted two issues for me, maturity and composure. Stood on the sidelines for 15 minutes then leaves for the lockerroom in the last 2 minutes of the game. Some people said he went back for medical problems, but if that was the case why play and stand on the sideline for so long? He was frustrated. If he faces a lack of success, he gets frustrated and starts losing his composure. Once he starts getting sacked or his passes arent connecting he "quits" or half-asses it.

Michael Penix would almost certainly be consensus QB 1 in this draft. Tbh it really wouldn't even be close.

The three man rush problem is a manifestation of all his weaknesses. When they drop 8, the windows are smaller. It helps to have a bigger arm to rip it in-between defenders. You have to throw with anticipation because if a receiver is already open in an 8 man zone, he'll naturally run into a defender's zone by the time the ball gets there. That zone should break down if the QB just dances in the pocket for a bit, but he's not good at that either.

To me, this is a day 2 guy being elevated by a weak draft class. My comp is a less athletic Tyrod Taylor. Fringe starter who you can trust to take care of the ball, but will never elevate his teammates.

I’m am so sorry for the fans of whatever team drafts him in the top ten.

Sanders being a top qb choice despise being a clear project qb is a damning sign for this qb class

Cam Ward is the only QB worth a first round pick in this draft in my opinion

He gonna be the next cam newton. But when cam came back, not when he first entered.

I would enjoy an episode on Jalen Milroe. He may not be a top prospect, but he is an exciting prospect.

Yay I get to see the Giants draft an arrogant version of Teddy Bridgewater. So excited

When Teddy Bilgewater was coming out of Louisville his highlight reel featured a bunch of runs and JUMP PASSES, which were his trademark move. Check-down Teddy was never going to be more than a game manager. I'm a CU alum. I don't see Shedeur Sanders as an elite NFL QB. This draft profile buried the lede: Shedeur acted like he had all day on every play and many and perhaps most of his sacks resulted when he refused to throw the ball. Then he'd compound it by spinning as he was running backwards, turning an 8-yard loss into a 28-yard sack (there it is at the 28-minute mark). He rarely threw in rhythm, as in 1-2-3 release the ball. I think the pro game is going to be too fast for him. Oh, and to go all Colombo (you have to be old to get the reference) one more thing: Shedeur had at least three and probably four WRs who will be playing on Sundays (and Mondays and Thursdays and Saturdays sometimes). They, particularly Hunter, often made him look better than he is.
