MPs debate higher CPF monthly salary ceiling, retirement adequacy

At today's Budget debate, some MPs questioned the timing of the move to raise the Central Provident Fund monthly salary ceiling to $8,000 by 2026 from the current $6,000. One said the change appears to target workers earning more than $6,000 monthly, and questioned if the government considers this group at risk of retirement inadequacy.

I think we should change, and peg the CPF higher ceiling at Median salary in Singapore.

Those who cannot earn the median salary, likelihood don't have the mental capacity or the discipline to invest.
