Shout out to my younger self making an unboxing video of the Smile Pact. It was cringe but I was a cute kid.

UPDATE!!! I have been emailed by someone who WORKED on the Glitter Force music videos. For their own sake, I won't be giving any identifying information. However, I have been given the go ahead to explain a few other things! The burning questions of "who made this" and "why does it look like that" have finally been answered!

Saban (the company that dubbed Glitter Force) outsourced the music videos to Infinite Studios based in Batam, Indonesia. Looking up the studio, they actually don't have a bad track record. They've done the animation for a couple of Nickelodeon and Disney cartoons. As to why these ended up looking the way they do, there are several factors. Firstly, the work environment wasn't the best. Secondly, they were only given TWO WEEKS to complete each music video. This includes everything from animation, to effects, to rendering. Two weeks to do all that simply isn't enough. And finally, there was a lack of budget. That, along with these videos being juggled around with other projects.

So, yeah! That's what's up with the Glitter Force ending sequences!

The entire reason these revolting ending dances were made is because they wanted to market the band who sang all of the songs in Glitter Force, Blush, who dissolved 2 years after Glitter Force's release

"It was given basically the 4KIDS treatment."

As both a Pretty Cure and Yu-Gi-Oh! Fan, you don't know how much that validates my opinion on the similarities between the two.

Why do I find it genuinely funny the fact that after they ran out of precure endings they had to go on a low budget with poor models 💀
Also am I the only one who noticed they forgot to remove the doki doki precure logo in one of the endings?

I give an ounce of respect for Glitter Force because a fair number of modern precure fans outside east asia have said it was their starting point given Netflix's mainstream reach, but on its own? Going to be a big no from me.

Cure Sunny’s skin tone 😭. Also for like a year I’ve called the glitter force knee bends, Glitter Force knee breaks for like a year now lol. I showed my brother the clip and he made fun of it 😂

I love these endings and i'm glad they made them, but i have something big to say, glitter force and smile precure aren't the same series, for each episode they change all the plot and lines of the characters, i proved it myself watching 2 episodes at the same time and it was all different

They had ONE job:
Use the footage from Yay! Yay! Yay! for the first 20 episode credits, then for the other half you use Mankai Smile! for the credits
That's ALL they had to do and I would give them a pass!

I am from Peru and I saw Glitter Force days after its premiere and the second ending "What we need" did not exist yet, it was added in the second season, this can be corroborated with the dubbing of Russia and other countries that broadcasted the series on television.
Sometimes the endings are in instrumental, I think it is a problem of the application since I listened to "All Star" in instrumental for about 3 episodes.
It was the first anime that I saw complete and I enjoyed it, when DokiDoki was released I was expecting more animations like the previous ones.

I’ve said this a few times, but Glitter Force’s endings somehow look worse than Fresh’s first ending (the first 3D ending), I find it sad and hilarious

The story of Glitter Force:

Saban saw Smile Precure and they liked it a lot but it was Japanese and western kids didn't know Japanese. They wanted to put Smile Precure on Netflix in 2015 so they made a dub and was renamed Glitter Force. The original had so many emotional scenes. Saban edited and dubbed it because with emotional scenes, kids would go crying. In 2016 later when Saban finished making Glitter Force, they added it to Netflix kids. Smile Precure had 2 endings but Glitter Force had 8 extra. The 8 extra were made in MMD. Some people later on in America found a Japanese song with the same characters from Glitter Force. And guess what? It was the original! We would't have found the Japanese smile Precure if we didn't't watch glitter force!

So yeah! That was the story!

I've been obsessed with these kinds of videos lately and yours is pure gold
Also with the rigging of the glitter force models, as someone who has been learning cgi for 7 years now, they didn't even rig the hair pieces together to provide better physics, and its so easy if you take the time to learn it
march my love noooo 😭
