We join up with the Rolling Bones crew as they come into Salt Lake City for their final push towards Bonneville for the 2022 Speed Week! Cool that you got to run with the "Boners". 🤣 Love their cars and that fact that they drive 'em across the country to the salt. I myself, am just a pee on little hot rodder with a 392 powered '34 three window. I trailer though because I don't have a/c and it's hotter than blazes out here.

The really cool thing about Speed Week though, is that it's like drag racing used to be in the '60s and early '70s. You can go up to any racer in the pits and they will take the time to talk to you and show all their stuff, even a big dig like George Poteet. There is a lot of down time between runs so racers can get a bit bored waiting around. Some times they'll talk to you so much it's hard to get away! 😆

Another great video with fantastic shots of the cars rolling down the highway. Always prefer to see cars on the road versus just sitting somewhere, although cars sitting on the salt with the mountains in the background do make for some amazing shots.

Great cars, but I gotta shake my head at the very 1st car we see #147. He's totally oblivious to the fact the handicapped parking spot is meant for vans that obviously use the extra space adjacent to it for a lift. He (even later in the video) seems pretty frickin able bodied. Such a shame people don't consider or respect the mobility challenged.
