The installation process shown in the video is changed slightly. Please do the following to install the extensions:
2) Click on the Code button above the repository list
3) Select Download Zip option and save the zip file to a local folder
4) Locate the User Extensions folder, this can be found from the System option in Edit->Preference dialog. <br>
5) Extract the contents of the folder within the downloaded zip file in the Inkscape user extension folder. For example: if your download file is inkscapestrokefont-master.zip, then opening the file will show a single folder called inkscapestrokefont-master. Double click this folder within the zip and extract all its contents in the extensions folder. So after extracting the zip, there should be 14 files and one 1 folder called 'strokefontdata' added in the user extensions folder
6) Restart inkscape if it was running

How did you do the 3D animation at 7:57? And the order of the strokes, is it according to the order they are made? Can you re-order them also?

font list is not updating in inkscape with this extension. 0.92, 1.0 windows 11

@khemadeva the pluging looks good, but i cant generate any font. I stil get the Error: "The data was not generated due to an error. If you are creating non-english glyphs then save the document, re-open andtry generating the font data once again.' I start testing with inkscape 1.2.2, after that i have downgrade to 1.1.2. but still i get this error. I have rebuild the layers like the example in the video, and try it with the default layers. (the layers that will be created with create Font Desing Template ). I have close the document en reopen it. if have close the program and reopen it. I am out off options. Can you help me?

Thank you! This is a great storke font extensions! Is it possible if I use stroke letterings using adobe illustrator and embed in inkscape? it seems like the extension can't read the strokes which generated by adobe illustrator?

Hi, I have a problem, so, when I finish my font, i press generate font data, I sync every time possible, but when I render text with my font, it just says "No font data; please select a font and ensure that the list is synchronized" I sync every time, I checked if my svg font is in the file, I have restarted Inkscape, but nothing... I have the extension installed for Inkscape 1.0, for the Render text extension I typed Inkscape Stroke Font Extension in the text box and used Custom script and other fonts to render the text but the message I got was " Inscape has received additional data from the script executed. The script did not return an error, but this may indicated the results will not be as expected"
No rectangle objects selected. Is there any problem? please advise. thanks
