i recently took a workshop for polygel application with forms and tips and this video is helping me SO MUCH! I have very sensitive index nails and in the workshop my hyponychium hurt a lot when i tried to fit the form so when i did a fresh set i went with tips. I definitely want to stick to nail forms but it's so good to know how i can apply tips perfectly. I'm learning so much, thank you for putting these videos up for us to practice and perfect our techniques.

I'm so glad you mentioned at 8:40 that you don't like to use this method because water/dirt can get between the glue and natural nail. I just bought a the Light Elegance builder gels and wanted to explore using forms, but the tips briefly caught my attention since I'm coming as a total novice from press-ons. I can only imagine I'd have similar problems to moisture seeping under the glue with press-ons. Thank you! Your videos have been so helpful on this journey for me.

If you spill nailglue on yourself (like a decent amount) get it off ASAP! You can actually get a chemical burn from it, and the burn will keep burning until all the glue is off :(
This is why I don’t use tips anymore - painful memory :(

I’ve been using tips for years and love them. Now I use the dual forms with poly gel over top of them and am very happy with the end result. By doing this method, I don’t have to spend time smoothing out the ridge line from the tip since the product automatically smooths out the surface of the nail.

I think it would be really helpful if you showed welled tips aswell and how to use them. I see far too many techs who don't trim the well down for the nail size and end up with too much tip/Well covering the nail. Also, a point is that tipping bitten/short nails isn't a good idea as it doesn't leave enough nail to apply product to. Loved this video! Thanks for sharing!

Another very informative video. So far, the only thing I have really used is polygel with those forms. I tried a long time ago to use tips with acrylic and it felt like a filed for a month to get all the bulky product off. lol. Maybe one day I'll get brave and try it again, but for now, I'm loving the ease of polygel.

Whenever I attach tips, I use gel polish to attach the fake nail to my natural nail. In my opinion, it worked out pretty well.✨
