This song means so much more to me than most will realize. I truly hope all of you enjoy and the video means as much to you as well! Thanks for supporting our years worth of hard work!

It's been over a year since we wrote the lyrics for this song, and I've gotta say, this song is one that I have been looking forward to ever since we came up with the idea. We had a blast writing the lyrics for this one, and it was truly a ride seeing the progress and finally the full release of this song and video. I cannot wait for all of you to see what we've been working for so long, and thanks as always to Kyle for having me on this one! Wonderful work on this, team, and I'm glad to see all your efforts bear fruit!

I love how the flow of this song goes along with the animation! From what I can interpret, the main character seems to have rose to fame when she first debuted. But right after, the company decided to change the advert to be someone else as they were probably a more better look for the company rather than her. Seeing this, she became mad as she did put in quite a lot of effort for the commercial. She then got invited for all of "Shirley's Accomplishments" which was actually not what they were aiming to do, but rather show her many others who represented the company. And then the CEO made it a game where only one would remain. She feared as she didn't had anything, but remembered what the company did to her and decided to muster up the courage to be the one and only Glump Co representative.

She eventually pulled it off, but the CEO showed no remorse and just left her as the main aim of the event was just for him to enjoy a show. Pretty much, there representatives were all pawns of the CEO, exploited to the core.

The visuals and themes were absolutely fantastic. I loved all the imagery, and the vocal performance was just awesome.

This song feels so perfect!! My personal favorite line is where she says “I’m not some toy you can put on a shelf.”
The song is clever as well! Like, I couldn’t guess the lyrics, but once I knew them they stuck with me. And I love the sound of the song. Amazing ❤️

God, this is incredible. Surprisingly, my first impressions were very good and I was very surprised! For now I can't quite understand the message of the song, but on a personal level I think it's very deep. the animations and pacing was amazing. I loved him and above all I loved the oc!

This. I was not expecting this. I’m kinda at a loss for words to describe how truly amazing this was. The best I can say is that the music and the visuals were beautiful and tragic, hitting me with a wave of emotions. Great job to you and everyone that worked on the project!!!

I interpret this song as how creators feels when it comes to their art:

Shirley Rogers is the first one, she was the original who started everything and represent the true "you", your own style
But then, others similar to her start to appear: I think they represent the different shades of a creator, like a certain content or style/fandom of a song
They start to become more popular, and people demand them more and more often
Everyone forget about the original and Shirley gets replaced by them: I think this represent how creators are often gatekeeped to do only what people want, and they aren't able to express their true self, ending up forgetting it
The chorus represent the moment when creators have enough with all of this and start reacting, reaffirming themselves and their own "me" and doing what *they* enjoy

Maybe my interpretation is wrong, maybe it's not
Either way I really hope to see more of your originals Kyle, keep it on!

Ok first I recently stumbled onto this channel, but having replayed this song a few times has honestly seem to clicked something inside me, I honestly feel this song relates a lot to me and the life I have had and honestly what I had to give up a few years ago to keep on going. It got to the point honestly I was borderline depressed constantly, then almost losing my mother within that same year and so much more, this song made me stop and realize I'm stronger for going through it all. And by all I mean my entire 20+ years living.

This is so incredible! I don’t think I’m caught up in any lore, and this is the first time I’ve heard of this character, but I absolutely love this song. It’s so catchy and well made, I’m not surprises that a lot of thought was out into this. I’ve been listening to your stuff for a while how and I’ve seen you rise and fall, and I’ve seen you go through some rough times. But you always come at us with your most positive energy and the best songs you can make, and for that I admire you. You’ve gone through things that I can’t comprehend and you still break your back to please us doing what you want to. At least that’s what I think is going on. Feel free to correct me if I’ve gotten things twisted, but the bottom line is that you are amazing. You are incomparable to any other artist I know, genuinely, and I hope the best for you.
