My wife is from Suriname. Watching this video I have to laugh a bit. I have visited Suriname 5 times and saw most of it with the apotheose of the Blanche Marie Vallen(waterfalls). To reach this you will have to have a lot of stemina. If you like jungle especially the last part of the 'road' is spectaculair but unless it is your home country or you have relatives IMHO it is better to skip Suriname and find other countries far more interesting.Oh yeah it is not cheap. Almost everything it is imported from Europe or the US and prices for these goods are at a Western European level.
