JK develops sharingan's last tomoe when they tell him that he should better run away because the elders are afraid of his Uchiha power and want to attack him.

He does and is sad that sons of other clans that were his friends chase after him (especially Yoongi to whom he often showed his fire techniques) - he runs away anyway using genjutsu.

He uses his Amaterasu to burn all things that remind him of his friends but then when he is tricked by the strange man, that he comes to and that wants to use his power, Yoongi comes after him and frees JK from genjutsu and is willing to help him.
