"I'll lessen my hatred towards yuji itadori so I can perform World Cutting Slash without the hand sign" 🗣️

In the end, its gonna be revealed that Sukuna has a pair of small backup hands hidden in his pants for doing hand signs when all his arms are occupied

Binding vows to me is a genius move from gege to legalize asspulls 😂. It's like anything you can't explain make it a binding vow and all of a sudden it makes a whole lot of sense. No hate here, still love it😅

Skuna pulled a Todo and used his cheeks to do the hand signs 💀

I have been speculating that slash was a “watered down” version ever since it happened.

It’s revealed (or at least implied by Sukunas inner monologue) that Okkotsu released his domain on purpose rather than being forced to.

If it truly was a bona fide world cutting slash, by definition, Okkotsu would have been cut in half no questions asked.

Sukunas thought process may have been “well, this might not totally work but I have to try” and slung out a cut that wasn’t complete. It was still powered up by chants and hand signals but since all conditions weren’t met, it didn’t finish the job.

2 things: First if you look at all of Sukuna's binding vows, they almost always have heavy restrictions "on paper" while being freebies in reality. He makes a binding vow with Yuji only to 1shot him instantly. MS has an opening, technically giving his opponent an escape but it's Malevolent Shrine so most get obliterated the instant it's activated. Sukuna loves making 1111¹ deals that look fair but are horrendously lopsided in his favor

As for the Okkotsu slash, it's interesting that you mention it being "watered down" considering we do see that Yuta wasn't sliced in half. This might be the reason

I dunno why anyone ever disagreed with the binding vow theory, makes perfect sense

"Orrrr he made another binding vow to cut Okkotsu!"

MF's whole life is a binding vow and at the end it'll be some angel of death who'll take Sukuna as a price for all those vows.😂

The binding vow honestly makes sense. We already know that Sukuna can launch his dismantle without moving (when he killed the twin girls in shibuya, and vs Kusakabe.) all he did with the binding vow was to allow the world slash to act as a normal dismantle in terms of requirements, which are none as I just explained. Now he has to do all THREE requirements whenever he wants to use this attack, a huge draw back. Not an asspull at all imo, because imagine if Sukuna did not have this binding vow and only needed a hand sign still? He would be launching world slashes left and right against the cast. *The binding vow made him weaker, which 99% of the “readers” are missing because everything is an “asspull” when you can’t read.”*

Though, he doesn’t need 3 hands to do it as stated in the video. He can direct the slash after using the hand sign. He doesn’t have to do both simultaneously, though a 3rd arm would allow that which is faster just not required.

The dismantle for Yuta is 100% a normal dismantle that was just amped by chants. Yuta actually took out both his lower arms, he needs at least 3.

Remember he can use his techniques without moving or performing hand signs or incantations so that can be how rika let go of his hands

His hand is gone + THIS MAKES PERFECT SENSE.

at 3:49, that little red manga bit in between, are slashes landing on yuji and rika, I think that's how he got his hands free, and the panel all the way to the left shows rika and yuji being fileted like a fish. i think he did it all in kind of a burst of movement, he just went as fast as he could, he slashed yuji, got one arm free, slashed rika, then made sure that Yuta knew his place.

4:30 I think it was just a more powerful "Cleave". Rika and Yuji were mostly fine, only Yuta too the brunt of the attack and it still didn't insta kill him

I don’t think the dismantle he used against Maki and Yuta are necessarily the world slash, but instead it’s an empowered dismantle. In chapter 255 it’s been specified that his two lower arms aren’t suited for battle and considering the state those arms were against Yuta, it’s even more unlikely for him to pull it off. And, against Maki there were no signs of him using his MS hand signs as well.

Either those dismantles were simply empowered or he used another binding vow.

He probably performed something similar to world-severing dismantle, but at a lower* output like how Gojo does it with hollow purple.

The one Yuta got hit with was a point blank amplified normal dismantle. Which is why it didn't fully "divide" (for the lack of a better word) Yuta. It was implied multiple times during the chapter that the only way for Sukuna to mortally wound Yuta would be a point blank dismantle, BUT THEN Yuji lowers Sukuna's CE output and control by a lot using his soul punches which is why when Yuta later closes in on Sukuna to slash his arm off and is hit by a point blank non amplified dismantle, he heals instantly and says he can take it thanks to Sukuna's lowered output. Now, after being hit by Jacob's ladder, Sukuna realises he can't use the WCS thanks to Yuji and Rika so what he instead does is he uses an amped point blank dismantle for Yuta and normal point blank dismantles for Yuji and Rika, hence the palm pointing at Yuta to direct the more powerful dismantle just at him. This is consistent with the provided information and also future events (another amped dismantle shot toward Maki that she dodges and Larue stating Sukuna's lower arms are unfit for battle at this moment)

It’s possible that he had to chant because he was low in term of output after getting punched and slashed so many times, and had to position his hand in that way because it need to be like that ( it’s like a super concentrated slash, so for him to perform it, he has to do that ). So I don’t think it’s a plot hole I think he decided to give up on that technique (violating his bidding vow) because the threats of okkutsu was worth of that even because that was something he needed to overcome limitless from his point of view it wasn’t necessary anymore. He is really pragmatic, he doesn’t hold dear anything like when after he killed higaruma he lost his cursed object but he wasn’t sad or anything, because it was just a tool, he will discard anything until he gets what he wants

Sukuna seems to just fluently use binding vows whether explained or not.
He can manage the level of his dismantle to be like a cross punch or jab, he can do a 0 telegraph dismantle which probably trades away power for speed.

He sometimes does the lazy index wave like he did when Mahito touched his soul to add a little power or he might cross his index and middle finger and chant "dismantle" for more.
The delicate control he has really makes it seem like he is passionately cooking a meal.

It was probably just a dismantle strengthened by chants tbh his output was in the toilet and Yuta had already gotten comfortable tanking regular dismantles
