Dire as I wached the video it reminded me that at one point in your forgecraft 2 season you said that you would do a mod spotlight on open periphrals

Also, with computercraft, the challenge is in the code writing; not everyone is a master coder, and those who genuinely want to play the mod straight will find challenge in trying out new things. :)

I really haven't got a clue about what Dire is doing when programming with turtles and computercraft, but I can't wait for him to build some epic contraptions using this mod!!

Favorite use for this mod so far is a gate reader engineer turtle which is part of my automatic redstone energy cell charging system; a slightly modified version of Zivel's design on the FTB forums.

Yeah, they can flow diagonally...
But what I suggested was a third slot usable for energy/resupply, going on top of the turtle. That would have been awesome. :D

I think you read to much into it. The stuff in the background are most likely only his experiments for Forgecraft builds. As a example the framemachine looks kinda like his latest build from the SMP episodes. All we can do for now is stay patient and play with the other cool mods he spotlights for us.

I have another idea: a printer. You hook it up to a computer and put in paper, push a button on the printer and it will put anything that is on the computer screen onto a piece of paper. It would be good for sending people messages or showing them how you set up a programming so they could copy it. You can view it like you do a map where you hold it with both hands and look down to look at it. Thanks for your time!

sorry to contradict you or inform you, mr.direwolf, but there is an issue with the effect thing, you need to make it print out the event so you can know what the specific event is, or its going to log chat, monitor_touch, screen touch, etc, so that would be    event, item, amount = os.pullEvent("<effect>")     with <effect> replaced with the effect of the items.

i would personally like to see in a future update a portable computer like a laptop type device that you can use in your hot bar and be a exact copy of the computer
