There were so many positives to take! Bissouma had a moment of individual premier league standard brilliance that you just have to hold your hands up and say that nobody in the championship will score an individual goal like that, then their goal near the end was pretty forgettable, but apart from that we were so unlucky not to score on multiple occasions. I was impressed with how controlled and composed Nardi and the backline were, and we were playing it out from the back really nicely. Nardi looks like a huge upgrade on Begovic with some unreal point blank saves, and Kolli must of been working his arse off in pre-season because he looked mustard! On that showing I'd have him in the first team squad any day of the week. What was also very impressive were the other youngsters who came on in the second half were outstanding...I loved how fearless they were against a top PL side! Alfie Lloyd was a constant threat who was unlucky not to score, and I was right in front of him when he bodied Emerson Royal sending him flying which was great to see as it shows even our youngsters weren't intimidated by elite level players. We're looking so much better in every department under Marti 👏

good roundup mate, well researched as always. Everytime i see kolli i cant help but think "IF".... he has all the natual talent of a real superstar and the confidence, just needs more of that game-time experience and knowing how to read passage of play. most optimistic i've felt since season 2 of Warbs tho!

Couldn't agree more re centre midfield, looked vulnerable to me and if we're going to play out from the back we need the fetcher and carrier. Field can do this but Dixon Bonner and Colback don't look quite there for me. Alfie lloyd was great to watch, Santos looked a mile off it but generally it was great to us pressing them so high in the second half. Great video again Hoopsa - thanks

to be fair i saw the game to turn out really well for us but for me colback looked really clumsy and tired but the player that rather impressed me was alfie david lloyd, for the little minutes he had, he was really dangerous and giving us good oppurtunities still not 100% ready for us but i reckon he should get a carabao cup start or two
Again Hoopsa Wicked Vid, hope to see you at the brighton game all the best

I don't think Kolli needs a loan, he looks the real deal and when you have that talent you have to let them loose, I think Armstrong is a different case he would have benefited from a loan spell and some goals.

What kind of system did we play? My brother went to the game and said 433 which is different to the 4231 that we played last year. If that’s the case I would assume Colback was the holding midfielder, with Anderson and Dixon bonner ahead of him?

Surely this game is the prime example for Frey not to start games. He did well to find space to get the offside goal but it was offside… he’s not quick enough and often looks like a lump up top.

Similar to Kane for England, struggles to find good spaces due to the lack of pace. I think he would be an excellent sub to bring on when we need a goal in dying moments of games if we can build up pressure, or if we deceive to put two up front similar to what we had with Matt Smith and little Smyth.

Let’s hope new man Jan Celar can push both Dykes and Frey to improve their game!!

Great game otherwise and I was pretty nervous when I saw Cookie go down😖😂

Let's face it, QPR fans are so obsessed with sending players out on loan if we had Lamine Yamal, he would've been nowhere near the Euros but on loan at Aldershot.
